Vitamin E

by admin_amy | Published June 17, 2015

There are two families of Vitamin E – tocopherols (less expensive) and tocotrienols (more expensive /more powerful). Tocotrienols have the ability to inhibit cancer cells in the colon, skin, liver, lung, breast, pancreas, and the prostate. Tocotrienols also reduce cholesterol in recent studies. Reduced Vitamin E of any type may lead to cognitive impairment / dementia. Vitamin is often seen in skin creams to reduce age spots. Although both families of Vitamin E are important, don’t forget the tocotrienols.
